These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Coworkatome platform at https://coworkatome.com ("Platform") and the services provided by Coworkatome. By using our Platform and services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Coworkatome

Coworkatome is a platform that connects people who want to work from home (hosts) with people who want to find alternative workspaces (guests). We facilitate coworking space bookings and payments between hosts and guests.

2. User Roles and Responsibilities

2.1 Hosts
- Hosts provide their home workspace for guests to use
- Hosts must maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
- Regular hosts use fixed platform prices (€2.7/hour, €10.8/half-day, €18.9/day, €75.6/week)
- Premium hosts can set their own custom prices
- Hosts must comply with all local laws and regulations

2.2 Guests
- Guests book and pay for workspace access through our platform
- Guests must respect the host's space and follow any house rules
- Guests are responsible for their own equipment and belongings
- Guests must cancel bookings according to our cancellation policy

3. Booking and Payment Terms

3.1 Booking Process
- All bookings must be made through our platform
- Payment is processed securely through Stripe
- Bookings are confirmed only after successful payment
- Hosts receive payment after the guest's stay (minus platform fees)

3.2 Pricing and Fees
- Regular hosts: Fixed platform prices (€2.7/hour, €10.8/half-day, €18.9/day, €75.6/week)
- Premium hosts: Can set custom prices for their workspace
- Platform fees are 10% for regular hosts, 0% for premium hosts
- All prices are displayed in euros (EUR)
- Prices include all applicable taxes

3.3 Cancellation Policy
- Guests can cancel up to 24 hours before their booking for a full refund
- Hosts can cancel up to 48 hours before the booking
- Late cancellations may result in partial refunds

4. User Data and Privacy

We collect and store user data, including name, email, payment information, and workspace details, as necessary to provide our services. For details on how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy at https://coworkatome.com/privacy-policy.

5. Prohibited Activities

Users are prohibited from:
- Using the platform for illegal activities
- Harassing or discriminating against other users
- Providing false information about their workspace or identity
- Attempting to circumvent our payment system
- Violating any local laws or regulations

6. Limitation of Liability

Coworkatome acts as an intermediary platform. We are not responsible for:
- The condition or safety of host workspaces
- Disputes between hosts and guests
- Loss or damage to personal belongings
- Any issues arising from the use of third-party services

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France.

8. Updates to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Users will be notified of any changes via email and through the platform.
